About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure 5 generator stators for F-16 aircraft through solicitation SPRTA1-25-Q-0389. The procurement involves NSN 6115-01-283-8958, specifically stator generators manufactured by 0SVE9 with part numbers 949F600-2, designated as new manufacture items. This acquisition is part of a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case coded EG-D-KEP for international delivery and falls under NAICS code 336413 (Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The generators must include Unique Item Identification (UID) and contractors are required to hold their offered prices firm for 120 days. The solicitation was issued on June 24, 2025, with quotes due by July 24, 2025.

This procurement operates under an unrestricted contract structure with no mandatory set-aside designation, though it provides opportunities for various small business categories including HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, and economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses. The contract value is expected to remain below the simplified acquisition threshold, which has allowed the agency to waive the standard synopsis requirement under FAR 5.202(a)(13). Delivery of the 5 generator stators is required by May 29, 2028, providing contractors with nearly three years to fulfill the order. The place of performance is designated as Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation operations are based.
