About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is preparing to procure Module, Gyro (NSN 5998-01-612-6626) through a restricted procurement process. This pre-solicitation notice indicates the agency plans to acquire 7 units with an option for an additional 7 units, utilizing a Firm-Fixed-Price award method. The procurement is specifically restricted to DRS Network and Imaging Systems (Cage Code 24290), limiting competition to this single manufacturer. To access the solicitation, vendors must be certified under the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program (JCP) and complete the required DD Form 2345 registration process, which typically takes one week for approval. The solicitation is expected to be posted on SAM.gov on January 2, 2025, with a final response deadline of January 15, 2025.
The contract does not have a specific small business set-aside designation and will involve a potential reverse auction pricing technique after initial solicitation closes. Interested contractors must register in the reverse auction system and complete mandatory online training before participating. The procurement involves military-specification (MIL B) packaging and delivery to a destination point. The Technical Data Package (TDP) will be restricted, with access granted only to the Data Custodian identified through the JCP certification process. Contractors seeking additional information can contact the Joint Certification Program directly at 1-877-352-2255 or via email at dlacontactcenter@dla.mil for guidance on the certification and solicitation access requirements.
