Request for Information
The Marine Corps Installations West, Regional Contracting Office, Camp Pendleton is issuing this Sources Sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and resources to support this requirement. Industry responses to this notice may determine the Government's acquisition strategy.
The Government is seeking qualified sources with specific, recent experience in conducting the Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force (SPMAGTF) Certification Exercise (CERTEX), MEU Pre-deployment Training Package (PTP) and Realistic Urban Training (RUT). In order to accomplish these training events, special skill instructors are required in the following areas:
1.1 Close Quarters Training
1.2 Reconnaissance and Surveillance Operations
1.3 Surveillance Target Acquisition (Sniper)
1.4 Communications
1.5 Security Element Operations
1.6 Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS)
1.7 (Urban) Assault Climbing
1.8 Helicopter Rope Suspension Techniques (HRST)
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market research is purely voluntary and the Government assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred and will not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Telephone inquiries will not be entertained, accepted, or acknowledged and no feedback or evaluation will be provided to companies regarding their capability submissions.
If your organization has the potential capability to perform these contract services as identified in the DRAFT PWS, please provide responses to the following: (1) the contractor's specific and unique experience training in the areas identified above; (2) a reference list of these contracts within the past three (3) years, to include contract number, dollar value, a brief description of services, and points of contact with phone number; and (3) information related to the contractor's business size and socioeconomic status.
Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-mentioned services are invited to submit responses to this Sources Sought Notice via email to Kate Wimmer at katrina.wimmer@usmc.mil by 0900 PST on December 8, 2015. The reference number is M00681-16-R-0005.
