About this opportunity

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is conducting market research for a potential small business contract to provide CLIA-certified laboratory services to measure total and allergen-specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels from biological samples collected through the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). The key objectives are to test approximately 3,600-5,000 samples annually for 21 allergen-specific IgEs and 7 optional food-specific IgEs using Fluorescent Enzyme Immunoassay (FEIA), develop and deliver laboratory procedure manuals, and complete any required crossover studies. This is not a solicitation or request for quote and there will be no contract awarded relative to this notice. The CDC is conducting market research to determine the availability of small businesses to inform its acquisition method. If your responsible small business is capable of meeting the requirements detailed in the attached Statement of Work for testing of allergen-specific levels of immunoglobulin E (IgE), please send a summary of capabilities that demonstrates such for review.
Responses are due by 4pm Eastern Time on October 21, 2024 via email to Michael Gilham at ueh8@cdc.gov.
