About this opportunity

The Special Notice published by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Shared Services Center intends to issue a sole source contract to Flow Science, Inc. for Software - Flow 3D. The software will be used at NASA's Glenn Research Center to support research and engineering efforts.

Interested parties were invited to submit capabilities and qualifications by December 21, 2023 to be considered for conducting the procurement on a competitive basis instead of sole source. However, the notice also stated the decision was solely at the government's discretion. The statement of work attached detailed requirements for renewing Flow 3D software licensing and maintenance support for another year for the Research and Engineering Directorate at Glenn. This would provide patches, software support, and upgrades from an authorized reseller and include any documentation terms through performance ending December 31, 2024. Eligible use would be onsite or via telework by engineering users at the Neil Armstrong Test Facility.
