About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 15 units of NSN 7R-5999-015338554-EL, which appears to be an electrical component related to signal data processing and modification. The procurement is classified as a pre-solicitation opportunity with a due date of April 28, 2025. Interested parties must meet specific qualification requirements at the time of award, in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Potential vendors can obtain necessary technical documentation through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, PA, with most documents available in Adobe PDF format through ASSIST-Online. The government has determined that commercial item policies from FAR Part 12 will not be used in this solicitation, but interested parties may have 15 days from the notice date to identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item.
This procurement does not have a specific set-aside designation and involves electrical and electronic components categorized under PSC 5999. The quantity is precisely 15 units with delivery specified as FOB Origin. While specific award value is not disclosed, vendors must demonstrate they can meet the technical data package (TDP) version 004 specifications. Documentation and technical details can be accessed through multiple channels, including online resources, phone support at 215-697-2667, or mail request to DLA Document Services in Philadelphia. Potential vendors should be prepared to provide comprehensive documentation proving their product and manufacturing capabilities meet the military's stringent qualification requirements. The solicitation suggests a complex procurement process that will carefully evaluate technical competence and product specifications before making an award.
