Added: Aug 24, 2012 3:37 pm The US Office of Personnel Management, Boyers Contracting Group, Boyers, PA, intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Iron Mountain Information Management/National Underground Storage, Inc. (P.O. Box 6, Boyers, PA 16020) for shuttle bus services between the above ground parking area and employee work locations inside the mine. Services include both standard bus and low-floor bus vehicles accessible by mobility-challenged employees. The Government requires a contractor experienced in providing these types of services covering two employee shifts on a five-day per week basis in a rural area. The contractor must provide regular reliable service and must have clearance for its vehicles and operators to be able to enter and exit the restricted-access underground facility in performance of their duties.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 485410. The corresponding SIC code is V222. The small business size standard is $7.0 Million. All interested parties are encouraged to provide information on their capabilities to meet this requirement. In order to be considered a potential source, interested parties must submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating the capabilities to satisfy the requirement specified above and advantages of the Government to consider another source. The documentation must include prices and descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bona fide capability to meet this requirement including certification that the proposer has obtained clearance to enter the facility in performance of contract requirements . Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis, the contracting officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to Iron Mountain Information Management/National Underground Storage Inc. and all firms that respond to this synopsis. If no affirmative written response is received within 7 calendar days after publication of this synopsis that a comparable source is available, a contract will be issued to Iron Mountain Information Management/National Underground Storage Inc. for the requirement described above. The specific period of performance is a base year and one option year. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Governments Entity (CAGE) code and must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR Subpart 4.11 in order to receive award. SAM can be obtained at www.sam.gov .
