Awarded Vendors: Servitech. Contract Award Dollar Amount: 67200.85. Contract Award Date: 2017-07-20.

Update #2 ·

This procurement is for hand tools and toolboxes for the JSF Tool Control Program. Servitec is the only vendor that can provide the tools to meet the Governments requirement. The required tool boxes have been previously designed and purchased by the JSF program at the squadron level. This effort is a continuation of the tool boxes already in place at the squadron level. The tool boxes are designed for specific maintenance tasks in which training is conducted utilizing these exact tools and manuals for the repairs have been written to include these tools. In order to ensure that all servicemen are trained on servicing the JSF aircraft/ equipment and can perform their designated tasked quickly, efficiently and no matter their location, JSF tools are the same from one squadron to the next. Logistical problems would occur should another manufacturer's tools be used.
