The SMAS procurement was originallysynopsized as a Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Completion-type contract with an IndefiniteDelivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) component. Due to some recent policy changes, NASAre-examined its overall procurement strategy and determined that a CPFF, IDIQ-typecontract would better meet the requirements of the SMAS effort. Accordingly, thesolicitation will be amended to reflect this change. This is not considered asubstantial change in agency requirements. Acknowledgement of this amendment will berequired from all offerors. All questions should be sent to David.L.Boon@nasa.gov.
