The project involves the collaboration of CDC, UCSD, and jurisdictions that are collecting nucleotide sequence data. Presently, 27 jurisdictions are collecting these data. Additionally, it is anticipated that additional jurisdictions will begin collecting nucleotide sequence data during the project period; these jurisdictions will be engaged to use Secure HIV-TRACE Plus. The end users of this application are surveillance staff at state and local health departments funded to conduct HIV surveillance.
