1. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, intends to solicit quotes for American Sign Language Interpreter service at the Seattle Regional Benefit Office, Seattle, WA. A Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is 36C10E18Q0142.
2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 541930, (Translation and Interpretation Services) and the small business size standard is $7.5 Million. This procurement will be competed as a Total Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Set-aside in accordance with FAR Part 13 procedures. Only verified VOSBs in the VIP database when a quote is submitted and at the time of contract award will be considered for award and unverified firms will be considered non responsive and ineligible for award.
3. The intended contract period is a base period of award through 09/30/2018 plus four (4) one-year option years.
4. To ensure all prospective bidders receive equal access to all information about this notice and subsequent RFQ, all questions will be answered via an Amendment to the RFQ and no further information will be released about the RFQ prior to its posting at FBO.gov

6. It is anticipated a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted at www.FBO.gov within the two (2) days.
