Training and support services are also required.The solicitation will contain brand name restrictions as the satellitecommunications components must interface and be configurable withthe recently upgraded satellite communications systems utilized by variousJoint Warfighter commands. The upgraded VSAT systems utilize the 5IFiNFINITI hub router along with 1.0M SATCOM systems with iDirect modems.

This procurement is a follow-on to contract N65236-05-D-5152 with iDirectTechnologies. SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a full and opencompetitive solicitation with brand name restrictions. An indefinite delivery,indefinite quantity firm-fixed-price type contract is anticipated with a baseperiod of one year and two one-year options. All responsible sources areinvited to submit a proposal which will be considered. The applicable NAICSCode is 423690 with a size standard of 500 employees.

The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will beavailableon the Internet, on or about 09 May 2008 at the SPAWAR Business OpportunityWebsite, located at the following address: https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil; and the Federal Business Opportunities Website:www.fbo.gov.
