The proposed procurement is for NSN 1720-00-735-5037 made in accordance to 80020 NAVY drawings. Item is coded as a Critical Application Item (CAI), and requires source approval from NAVAIR, Lakehurst. Solicitation is set aside for small business. Contract type will be firm-fixed priced for a base quantity of 184 EACH to include Ranges: Range (1) is for 64 to 125 EA, Range (2) is for 126 to 187 EA and Range (3) is for 188 to 250 EA. Item is for a DLA Stock Location. Requested delivery is approximately 600 days with First Article Testing. Solicitation will require FOB Destination with Material Receipt Inspection at contractor’s facility. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.

Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
