The Information Technology, E-Commerce, and Commercial Contracting Center, Directorate of Contracting, Operations Branch, Fort Huachuca, Arizona will issue a solicitation for the procurement of removal and replacement of a 600 ton rooftop cooling tower at Fort Huachuca, AZ. This procurement, which will be completed utilizing sealed bid procedures, is described as follows: the contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment to complete the removal and replacement of the cooling tower in addition to providing LON compatible controls, adding tower support as necessary, and modifying the condensing water piping, make-up water service, and electrical service for new equipment and new tower location. Work will be performed on Fort Huachuca, AZ.
This is a 100% Hub Zone Set Aside acquisition with a completion schedule of 90 calendar days after award. The total value of the project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238990 All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. Award will be made to the offeror whose bid, responsive and conforming to the Invitation for Bid (IFB), is determined to be most advantageous to the Government in terms of price, past performance, and other related factors. The Government intends to award without discussions, therefore, the offerors initial proposal shall contain its best terms. Upon release to the public on or about 31 July 2009, the solicitation W9124A-09-B-0003 will be available via the Internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi) or Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps, http://fedbizopps.gov/). Offerors are responsible for checking the websites for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposal due date and time will be included in the solicitation.
