Added: Dec 01, 2009 4:51 pm Modified: Jan 12, 2010 5:20 pmTrack Changes RECOVERY- For Hand Thinning, Hand Piling, Grapple Piling, and Burning of Piles on U.S. Forest lands, and will appear under up-coming solicitation AG-0489-S-09-0023 (PCRD Thin and Treat), which is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). Inclusion of unique provisions is required for implementing the Act including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s) will be required in any resultant contract. The Awardee(s) will be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act which requires each contractor to report on its use of Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract. These reports will be made available to the public. Additional information on these requirements can be obtained from the solicitation when issued. The Contractor selected in the contract award shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies, and incidentals required to accomplish the work (unless specified differently in the solicitation, as Government-Furnished-Property). The project number is WFM-0604-03Hf. The work area is located at the Malheur National ForestPrairie City Ranger District; Prairie City, Oregon. The project consists of 1253 acres of Hand Thinning, 408 acres of Hand Piling, 1193 acres of grapple piling, and993 acres of Burning of Piles. Vicinity and project maps showing project location and access will be located in the solicitation attachments. The NAICS code for this project is 115310, with a size standard of $17.5 (note 17) Million, for Fuel Management Services. The full detailed solicitation will be posted electronically at FedBizOpps website https://www.fbo.gov.





The estimated issue/posting date of the solicitation will be December 23, 2009. At the time specified in the solicitation offerors may submit their proposals in response to the solicitation. Note that all offers meeting the requirements specified in the solicitation will be considered. Offers will be due on or around January 19, 2010 with a total award time of approximately 60 days from the date of this notice. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for HUBZone small business concerns.
