About this opportunity

This notice provides advance information for a forthcoming solicitation from the Naval Supply Systems Command for six radomes under National Stock Number 7R-1560-016611726-E8. The radomes require engineering source approval and can only be obtained from sources previously approved by the Government, due to the technical requirements for maintaining quality as well as the flight critical nature and proprietary data for the items. Interested contractors must submit documentation on their qualifications and experience by February 19, 2024 in order to be considered for award.

The acquisition will be partially set aside for small businesses. The solicitation is expected to include clauses for types of small business preferences such as HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, or historically black colleges and universities. The NAICS code for this requirement is not specified but will likely be for radio and television broadcasting and wireless communications equipment manufacturing. As this is a sole source procurement for proprietary items, it is possible a current OEM contractor will be the only awardee. The quantity required is six radomes with delivery FOB origin by an unspecified future date.
