The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, intends to procure a total quantity of three (3) "prototype" Radio Altimeter Test Sets and twelve (12) optional production units for the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program. The Radio Altimeter Test Set will be used at the Organizational Level of Maintenance to functionally test the Radio Altimeter (RAD ALT) System on the MQ-4C UAS which is used during the landing phase of flight to initiate flare and de-crab maneuvers. In addition to providing the Radio Altimeter Test Set, the contractor shall provide Operations and Maintenance Manuals (CDRL B001) and one 8-hour on-site training course. This will be a Full and Open Competitive procurement.
The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. This requirement shall be fulfilled by supplying "commercial items/services" as defined in Section 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. This notice of intent is not to request for proposals: Interested companies may request an RFQ by contacting the Point of Contact below.
