Added: Aug 14, 2009 4:22 pm The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for Radiation Therapy equipment for a national contract. The VA is seeking sources for a government acquisition to acquire: Radiation Therapy systems, upgrades and accessories, linear accelerators, simulators, therapy information systems, therapy planning systems, afterloading systems, water phantoms, and installation. This acquisition is unrestricted, and the VA intends to award multiple contracts from this solicitation. The applicable NAICS code is 334517. Awards will be based on best value to the government. RFP No. M6-Q6-09 will be available on or about August 31, 2009. Solicitation documents and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. Hard copies will not be available and no written or fax requests will be accepted. It is the contractors responsibility to monitor FBO for any amendments. It is anticipated that offers will be due on or about October 30, 2009. Offers must be hand-carried or mailed to: National Acquisition Center (001AL-A2-3a), National Contracts Division, P.O. Box 76, Building 37, 1st Avenue, One block North of 22nd Street, Hines, IL 60141, ATTN: Tony Crumpton. All interested parties must be registered in VETS 100 per Title 38, USC, Section 4212(d), and registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. CCR registration must be obtained before award can be made. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date.
