About this opportunity
This federal solicitation is for the procurement of Quick Acting Watertight Doors by the Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command. The solicitation provides detailed specifications for the doors, including size, material, and pressure requirements. It is a firm-fixed-price supply contract and anticipates a single award for all items. Offers are due by 12:00 PM on June 13, 2024, and the award will be made on the basis of price, unless past performance information indicates the lowest priced offer may not represent the best value.
The solicitation is a total small business set-aside. No information is provided about any potential incumbents or current contractors. The solicitation does not specify an award value or budget range, but does state that quotes for less than the entire effort may be unacceptable. The place of performance is not explicitly stated, but the solicitation provides instructions for shipping the doors through the NAVSUP Navy transportation system.
