About this opportunity
The US Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is soliciting quotations for seven centrifugal pump units under NSN 4320-01-468-7959, specifically the WILO USA LLC/SCOT PUMP Model 74B (new part number 74 NV) featuring 2" x 2" specifications with a 1 HP motor operating at 230/460V, 3/50/60 Hz. This procurement follows simplified acquisition procedures under FAR 13 and is structured as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared according to FAR Subpart 12.6. The solicitation requires strict compliance with military packaging standards including MIL-STD-2073-1E Method 10, MIL-STD-129R marking requirements, and ISO/IEC-16388-2007 bar coding specifications, with failure to meet these requirements resulting in item rejection. The Coast Guard will evaluate quotations using lowest price technically acceptable criteria and intends to make an all-or-none award to a responsible offeror. Quotations must be submitted via email to Eric.I.Goldstein@uscg.mil by August 18, 2025, just five days after the August 13, 2025 posting date.
This solicitation operates under NAICS code 333914 (Measuring, Dispensing, and Other Pumping Equipment Manufacturing) with a 500-employee size standard and carries no set-aside designation, making it open to all responsible sources. The original equipment manufacturer is identified as WILO USA LLC, doing business as SCOT PUMP, which may position them favorably as the incumbent supplier for these specialized centrifugal pump units. While no specific contract value is disclosed, the procurement involves seven individual pump units that must be packaged separately according to military standards and shipped in ASTM-D5118 double-wall fiberboard boxes. The contract will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price arrangement, and the government documentation indicates this represents a requirement for the Coast Guard's surface operations logistics support. Each pump unit must meet exact specifications including the seal kit 118.000.341 and maintain the standard construction requirements outlined in the technical description.
