The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 1095010790249, PROJECTILE,LINE THR. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three-year base period and two one-year options is anticipated. Applicable NAICS is 332993 and Small Business Size Standard is 1500. Solicitation will be unrestricted with full and open competition. Estimated Annual Demand Quantity (ADQ) is 6910.
This item is on the QUALIFIED SUPPLIERS LIST OF MANUFACTURERS (QSLM) FOR GUN PARTS. Refer to M02 QUALIFIED SUPPLIERS LIST OF MANUFACTURERS (QSLM) FOR GUN PARTS FEDERAL SUPPLY CLASS (FSCs) 1005, 1010, 1015, 1025, 1055, AND 1095 (OCT 2016). The solicitation will be available on March 3, 2017, at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp/. Hard copies are not available. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Origin is required as this item is in the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. Inspection/Acceptance is at origin. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and socioeconomic support as described in the solicitation.

Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
