About this opportunity

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division at China Lake, California intends to procure three PNT Configurator units as an upgrade to existing data collection hardware currently in operation. This procurement is planned as a sole source acquisition to Viavi Solutions Inc., located in Germantown, Maryland, as they are identified as the original equipment manufacturer and sole provider of this PNT product line. The agency is not seeking competitive proposals but will consider responses from firms that believe they can fulfill the requirement, with responses due no later than five days after the August 14, 2025 publication date. Interested parties must submit capability statements via email to Andrea Farrell that clearly demonstrate their experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule requirements. All responses must reference solicitation number N6893625Q5136, and contractors must maintain active SAM registrations and obtain DLIS certification to access Controlled Unclassified Information.

This procurement opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to full and open competition despite the sole source intent to Viavi Solutions Inc. The quantity specified is three PNT Configurator units, though no award values or budget ranges are disclosed in the notice. The timeline is compressed with responses due by August 19, 2025, just five days after the posting date. Contractors must ensure their SAM registrations remain active as the government cannot award contracts to entities without active status, and the registration process may take several days to complete. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334513 for instruments and related products manufacturing and PSC code 7B22 for IT and telecom computing servers and hardware.
