The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) # 75D301-18-R-67855 on FedBizOpps on or after July 2, 2018 for services in support of the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP), Division of Viral Hepatitis, Epidemiology and Surveillance Branch (DVH/ESB) to obtain required services to provide the CDC with nationwide anti-hepatitis drug use data and related data services from a well-defined national and regional sample of the ~60,000 retail, governmental, and institutional pharmaceutical product sales and dispensing venues across the country. The Government expects to solicit full and open competition.
In general, the contractor will provide support in the following areas:
1. Provide access to pharmacy transaction data representing at a minimum: 250,000 unique, person-level anti-hepatitis treatment data records for persons treated for HBV infections, and 500,000 unique, person-level anti-hepatitis treatment data records for persons treated for HCV infection.
2. Provide two web based training sessions for approved users each year. The contractor shall provide a course outline for all levels of training offered and options for additional "on-demand" sessions via web-based methods.
3. Provide 40 analytical and programming support hours each year, to enable CDC personnel to obtain prescriptions, patients, claims and any other utilization metrics not available through the provided data.
The resultant contract is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract awarded on or before September 30, 2018. The term of the contract is expected to be for a base of (1) year with (4) 12 month option periods. The applicable NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $15 Million.
