The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Northeast Region 5, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for rehabilitation/repairs to Matinicus Rock Lighthouse number two, located on Matinicus Island (Maine)of the Petit Manan National Wildlife Refuge. This 48 foot high lighthouse is located 26 miles off the coast of Maine. The lighthouse is on the National Register of Historic places, and the rehabilitation work shall comply with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (information will be included in the solicitation documents). The work under this project consists of supplying all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and supplies necessary to perform the work described in the Statement of Work.
The estimated magnitude for this project is between $100,000. and $250,000. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 237990. In order to be eligible for award, interested firms must be registered at the System for Award Management (SAM online at www.sam.gov). All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency.
A Request for Proposal (RFP) including Technical Specifications, drawings and evaluation criteria will be released through www.fbo.gov and www.fedconnect.net on or about April 3, 2019. The period of performance will be sixty (60)calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The anticipated contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price. Award will be made based upon Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15, and the terms in the solicitation. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L and M of the solicitation. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted
