About this opportunity
NASA Shared Services Center seeks PC-12 Initial Maintenance Training for four NASA maintainers, with proposals due June 24, 2026, and technical/contractual questions due June 22. The procurement is full and open competition with no set-aside.
Training will be conducted at the contractor's qualified facility and must cover aircraft systems overview (airframe, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, environmental, flight controls, avionics, ice protection), powerplant systems, maintenance practices, troubleshooting, and ground operations. Instruction must comply with FAR Parts 39, 43, and 65. The contractor shall deliver all personnel, facilities, equipment, and training materials, including aircraft publications, academic outlines, checklists, and schematics. Training must include structured hands-on instruction using aircraft system trainers, component mockups, or equivalent devices, instructor-led classes, and multimedia resources. Facilities must occupy permanent buildings with audiovisual capability, comfortable seating, climate control, and dedicated classroom space. Instructors must hold an Instructor Rating or equivalent formal instructor qualification and be highly qualified in aviation/aircraft maintenance. Students must demonstrate proficiency through written examinations, practical assessments, and instructor evaluations, receiving proficiency certificates upon completion. Place of performance is Edwards Air Force Base, California.
