Added: Dec 13, 2010 2:34 pm Modified: Jan 14, 2011 5:10 pmTrack Changes PBX SYSTEM is to be Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC)-certified small and medium enterprise office (SMEO) Internet protocol/time division multiplexing IP/TDM PBX; equipped with redundant (duplex) servers and redundant (duplicated) control networks. The bearer (audio) network shall be equipped with duplicated media resources (DSP resources). Five Nines availability (99.999%) is the goal. A JITC-certified voicemail system is also required. Additionally the manufacturers must comply with the National Telecommunications Security Working Group (NTSWG) 2a, 2b and 6 standards for guidelines for voice over internet protocol (VoIP) computer telephony and the Director of Central Intelligence Directive No.

6/9, appendix-G . It is highly desirable that the system provide a migration path to VoIP technology. Salient characteristics for this item, which describe the product, were provided in the solicitation.

Added: Dec 13, 2010 2:34 pm The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS/IMF), Bremerton, WA intends to purchase One PBX System in accordance with specifications provided in the forth coming solicitation. Vendor shall submit evidence of said clearance with quote. Incidental services to include on-site vendor setup and testing for acceptance and standard commercial warranty support for 12 months. ALL MEMBERS OF THE INSTALLATION TEAM MUST HOLD A CURRENT TOP-SECRET CLEARANCE AT TIME QUOTE IS SUBMITTED. The place of delivery is PSNS/IMF Silverdale, WA. F.O.B. Destination. Required delivery date is 18 January 2011. Numbered Note One applies - The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.

The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 15 December 2010 with a closing date of 28 December 2010. This requirement to be solicited using commercial, simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation factors resulting in award of a Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract.
