The anticipated solicitation release date is changed to February 13, 2015.
The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a need for training and technical assistance for the Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security (PABSS) program grantees. There are 57 PABSS projects/grantees. It is SSA's intent to procure this requirement utilizing the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR part 15, Contract by Negotiation. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541990. The size standard is $15M. SSA anticipates awarding one (1) firm fixed price type contract for this effort. The period of performance shall be for one year (September 29, 2015 ? September 28, 2016), with four 1-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about January 30, 2015. The selection decision will be based on overall best value to the Government, price and non-price factors considered. The RFP will be issued under sol! icitation SSA-RFP-15-0017. The solicitation and any related documents will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at FEDCONNECT. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. Potential offerors shall be responsible for monitoring the internet site for release of the solicitation and any amendments.
