Orient LPOE Building Rehab
General Services Administration
Orient, Maine


The contractor shall provide for any and all provisions - including but not limited to materials, labor, equipment, associated administrative, scheduling coordination and security costs required to perform electrical work at the Orient U.S. Land Port of Entry in Orient Maine.


The building has a full basement One and a half stories above grade and an open attic space..


Provide all materials and perform all required work to include the base bid and options as selected by the Government:


Options are as follows



Base Bid



d.         install mini split heat pumps for four office areas on first floor.
e.         install air to air heat exchanger to ventilate office area.
g.         Replace selected windows



Option 1



a.         Install slip on bollard covers
b.         Clean and Paint HVAC Radiation
c.         Install secondary containment for fuel tank



 



f.          Work Deleted


 



 



 



A pre bid walk is scheduled for 11:00 AM on 8/9/2017
at the Orient LPOE on Boundary Road in Orient, Maine.


Location information can be obtained from the web site http://www.ezbordercrossing.com/list-of-border-crossings/maine/  


The Contractor shall be ultimately responsible for verification of all existing conditions. Submission of an acceptable proposal to the government shall serve as the contractor's validation of existing site conditions and understanding of the requirements. Furthermore all applications shall be consistent with standard industry practice - all federal state, and local codes and standards.


The Solicitation Package will be posted on or about Wednesday, August 2, 2017.

The Estimated Cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.

This Procurement is 100% Reserved for Small Business.


This solicitation does authorize the transmittal of offers, modifications, or withdrawals of offers through email.  Please email a copy of your proposal to kimberly.gelly@gsa.gov with a cc: to kevin.morris@gsa.gov to be received no later than Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time.  Hard copy submissions are also acceptable, as prescribed by FAR 52.215-1(c)(1).  No other means of transmission are acceptable.
