The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, specifically DLA Maritime Pearl Harbor, is seeking qualified vendors to submit quotes for an oil pump assembly for the USS Colorado. The solicitation (SPMYM4-25-Q-0388) requires a specific York gear type oil pump with a 15 GPM capacity, 2 HP motor (1750 RPM, 440V, 3 phase, 60 Hz), and Navy service A squirrel cage induction motor. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and can submit quotes via email by 06:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time on April 15, 2025. The contract will be awarded on a low-cost, technically acceptable basis, with evaluation factors including price, technical compliance, and delivery capabilities. Vendors must provide comprehensive documentation including pricing, FOB destination, point of contact, Tax ID, Unique Entity ID, and CAGE code.
The solicitation is unrestricted and does not have a specific small business set-aside, though it falls under the NAICS category 333618 for Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The specific oil pump (York P/N 026-44541-000) is required for urgent replacement of a defective component on the ship's #2 RAC Plant. Delivery is needed to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii by April 24, 2025. Johnson Controls Inc. has been identified as the sole source for this proprietary part, with the urgent requirement first identified on March 2, 2025. The technical certification was completed by Mechanical Engineer Cheng Jie Wu on March 24, 2025, highlighting the critical nature of the procurement. While no specific award value is mentioned, the solicitation emphasizes the immediate operational need for the replacement oil pump.
