The purpose of this action is to provide the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) notice of intent to issue a Sole Source Bridge Contract to PAE Aviation and Technical Services to continue aircraft maintenance and logistics support services. This contract will allow a continuation of vital services until the competitive follow-on contract is awarded and transition is completed.
The Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Support Services are essential to ensure that CBP Air and Marine Operations (AMO) has the numbers, types, and properly configured aircraft available where and when required to meet law enforcement and national security aviation operational commitments.
The anticipated contract period will be up to a 12-month period (Six-Month Base and two Three-Month Option Periods) from April 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020 for the Base Period with (1) 3 month Option from Oct 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020 and (1) 3 Month Option period from Jan 1, 2021 – Mar 31, 2021.
This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. The Justification and Approval will be posted in accordance with FAR 6.305(a).
