Added: Jan 09, 2017 9:43 am The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a window rehabilitation requirement for the Quincy Mine Office located at Keweenaw NHP, Calumet, MI. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals for the rehabilitation of existing wood windows including: basement awning windows, first and second floor double-hung windows, and fixed attic windows .A detailed Project Specifications Manual and Drawings will be provided with final solicitation documents. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P17PS00363. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by late April 2017 with performance to begin in May 2017. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Houghton County, MI. will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance and Price, with Technical Sub factors: Experience and Project Management to include compliance with EPA guidelines for conservation and waste management. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 236220, and the size standard is $36.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available early February 2017 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.
