This Special Notice was published by the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation to solicit information from contractors regarding a sole source contract. Responses must identify company information and size status according to NAICS code 334513, and show capability to fulfill the requirement. Only information to determine conducting competition will be considered, with responses submitted to the identified contracting officer by email. Eligible contractors must be able to supply the transducers to the Shasta and Trinity Powerplants in Shasta Lake, California by the deadline of February 14, 2022.
Notice text
The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with ADS LLC (DBA: Accusonic Technologies) for the purchase, delivery, and installation of forty-eight (48) transducers at the Shasta and Trinity powerplants in California. A sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition.
Firms believing they can provide these supplies or services above must provide a written capability statement to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence that demonstrates the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within 5 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should be emailed to the Government point of contact for this acquisition at skibathi@usbr.gov, no other submission will be accepted.
Responses should include:
1) Company name, address, DUNS number, and point of contact name of email address.
2) Identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 334513, Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables.
3) Information that would demonstrate that your business has the capability to provide the above-mentioned items and services for transducers to the Shasta and Trinity Powerplants in Shasta Lake, California.
