On 27 April 2017, NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Groton Office, CT awarded a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for various Brand Name Only Musical Instruments in support of Naval School of Music, Virginia Beach, VA. Contract N00189-17-P-G119 was awarded to Alamo Music Center, Inc. in the amount of $195,954.00. The award was made in response to proposals submitted under RFP N00189-17-Q-G002.

This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (https://www.neco.navy.mil/).



The RFQ number is N00189-17-Q-G002. The NAICS code is 339992- Musical Instruments Manufacturing, and the small business standard is 1000 employees.





This is a full and open competitive action, and it is anticipated that ONLY ONE award will result from this solicitation.

This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the vendor’s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Lack of registration in the System Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) will make a vendor ineligible for award.



The Government anticipates release of the RFQ around the mid-week of March 2017.
