NASA Johnson Space Center (NASA/JSC) plans to conduct a Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle Program Integration Contract (MPIC) RFP Highlights and Pricing Information WebEx. The presentation for the RFP Highlights and Pricing Information WebEx will be held via WebEx/teleconference from 9:00 a.m. (CST) to 10:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. MPIC RFP HIGHLIGHTS AND PRICING INFORMATION WebEx is open to firms that are interested in pursuing contracting opportunities on the MPIC procurement, and will begin at 9:00 a.m. (CST). To be able to access the MPIC RFP Highlights and Pricing Information WebEx, please email the Contracting Officer, Geraldine Mason at jsc-mpic@mail.nasa.gov. Your email must include the following: 1) Subject line: "MPIC RFP Highlights and Pricing Info WebEx RSVP" 2) Companys name and address 3) The companys Point of Contacts (POC) names, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses 4) Whether or not you would like your company to be included in the MPIC Interested Parties List which will be posted after completion of the RFP Highlights and Pricing Information WebEx. E-mail reservations must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Added: Jun 11, 2012 12:25 pm NASA/JSC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle Program Integration Contract (MPIC). This is the follow-on competition to the contract requirements for the current Orion Project Integration Contract (OPIC), NNJ08TA13C, ending April 10, 2013. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This effort is to provide the MPCV Program Office with Management Products and Professional Services. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541712 - Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology) and 1,000 employees under the exception for Space Vehicles and Guided Missiles, their Propulsion Units, their Propulsion Units Parts, their Auxiliary Equipment and Parts. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated release date of the final RFP is on June 29, 2012 with an anticipated offer due date of August 13, 2012. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
