About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking contractors to repair an existing MOUNT, RESILIENT, WEA unit, with a strict focus on repair services rather than purchasing new or used units. Potential vendors must provide evidence of data access or rights to repair the specified equipment, with authorized distributors confirmed by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) being considered as potential sources. The solicitation requires detailed quote submissions including specific cost factors such as Item Unique Identification (IUID), Component Acceptance Verification (CAV) asset processing, and packaging. Vendors must submit a Monetary Limitation Order (MLO) price for evaluation and repair, with a tear-down evaluation price, and a new item price estimate. The solicitation requires comprehensive repair documentation, including evaluation findings detailing unit condition, missing parts, required replacements, and repair scope. Quotes must be valid until at least September 30, with the response deadline set for April 21, 2025.

This solicitation is not set aside for any specific business category and is open to qualified contractors capable of meeting the technical repair requirements. The contract involves repairing a specific military equipment unit, with potential for multiple units depending on assessment. Repair work must conform to the contractor's established repair/overhaul standard practices, including adherence to specific military standards like MIL-STD-130. The contracting officer reserves the right to exercise option quantities within 365 days of contract award, with prices potentially varying based on ordered quantities. Inspection and quality assurance will be conducted by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) prior to shipping, with strict requirements for documentation, packaging, and technical compliance. The repair location and specific CAGE codes for various operational stages will be determined during the proposal process, emphasizing the technical complexity and specialized nature of the maintenance work.
