The procurement involves electrical and electronic assemblies, boards, cards, and associated hardware within the 5998 Product Service Code category. Award will be made only if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The government has determined through market research that FAR Part 12 commercial item policies will not be used for this solicitation, though interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy requirements with commercial items within 15 days of the notice. Interested parties can obtain military specifications, standards, qualified products lists, and other standardized documents from the DoD Single Stock Point through ASSIST-Online or by contacting the ASSIST Help Desk.
This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors. The procurement specifies a quantity of 8 each units to be delivered FOB origin, indicating a relatively small-scale requirement. No potential incumbents or current contractors are identified in the pre-solicitation notice, nor are any specific award values or budget ranges disclosed. The technical data package version 002 suggests this may be an updated or modified version of previously procured equipment. The 47-day response period from posting to due date provides contractors with adequate time to prepare their proposals and obtain necessary qualification documentation. Delivery terms specify FOB origin, placing shipping responsibility and risk on the purchasing government once goods are delivered to the contractor's shipping point.
