MCB, Quantico, VA has a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Network supporting P25 compliant radio devices. As part of the installation of the network, an East Coast Control Center (ECCC) Management System was installed which is capable of servicing the entire East Coast for LMR first responder communications but no other East Cost USMC activity receives such service at this time.

Marine Corps Base Quantico (MCBQ) also has a Rapid Response System (RRS), which is a mobile ELMR solution vehicle that provides first responders with vehicle mounted, portable,  SmartZone, trunked Radio Frequency (RF) wireless network for handheld, mobile or base station subscribers where wireless communications systems have become saturated or inoperable due to extreme over use or damage sustained during crisis. It is also used as a limited interoperability "bridge" between existing local, state and/or Federal First Responder radio networks and subscribers utilizing the RRS. The RRS provides radio to telephone inter-connect via one internal Private Branch Exchange (PBX) telephone switch. MCBQ RRS is under the operational and administrative control of G-6 MCBQ. The RRS deployable system incorporates ASTRO 25 SE 6.1 communications system software.
