Added: Jul 18, 2015 1:15 pm The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement to procure various sizes of timbers to be delivered to numerous lock and dam locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

A sample of the lumber specifications for your use in determining your interest in this requirement is as follows:

Dimensions: 8 inches X 12 inches X 16 feet (128 BdFt) rough sawn
Species: Southern Yellow Pine
Grade: #2 or better
Treatment type: Waterborne, chromated copper arsenate (CCA)
Treatment retention: 0.6 pounds per cubic foot minimum


This procurement is set aside for SDVOSB firms under NAICS 321113 with a small business size standard of 500 employees.

This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future.
