The objective of this Phase I procurement is to design and build an advanced oxygen recovery technology that is based on an ambient temperature and pressure microfluidic electrochemical reactor, which combines carbon dioxide reduction and oxygen generation to recover > 75% of the oxygen from metabolically-produced carbon dioxide and to deliver hardware that has been demonstrated to a technology readiness level of 4.
