About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking to procure 40 Square Mesh Safety Nets for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard through Request for Quotation (RFQ) SPMYM325Q5060. The safety nets must meet specific technical requirements including 50 ft length by 3'6" width, black nylon or high-tenacity polypropylene knotless mesh construction, 1/8" diameter rope with 800 lbs tensile strength, fire-resistant properties per NFPA 701 Method 2, and 1.5"-2" wide black webbing border with grommets positioned 2 ft on center. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on SAM.gov. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is SPMYM325Q5060. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2025-04 and DFARS Change Notice 2025-0117. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.
