Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas is seeking responsible sources to provide 9 (ea) Geneforce Emergency Power System (brand name or equal) back-up batteries to be used throughout four (4) sections within the Medical Group facility. This sources sought is being posted strictly for market research purposes, and funds are not currently available at this time.
Specifications are as follows:
Item 1. 3 (ea) Back-up batteries with 2,000w output, surge power of 6,000w and 5kw of storage capability to ensure minimum support for up to 14 hours. Equipment shall be no greater than 40 in x 40 in x 30 in for storage and shall weigh no more than 500 lbs.
Item 2. 1 (ea) Back-up battery with 2,000w output, surge power of 6,000w and 10kw of storage capability to ensure minimum support for up to 14 hours. Equipment shall be no greater than 40 in x 40 in x 30 in for storage and shall weigh no more than 500 lbs.
Item 3. 1 (ea) Back-up battery with 2,500w output, surge power of 7,500w and 13kw of storage capability to ensure minimum support for up to 14 hours. Equipment shall be no greater than 40 in x 40 in x 40 in for storage and shall weigh no more than 1,000 lbs.
Item 4. 4 (ea) Back-up batteries with 3,000w output, surge power of 6,000w and 38kw of storage capability to ensure minimum support for up to 14 hours. Equipment shall be no greater than 40 in x 40 in x 40 in for storage and shall weigh no more than 1,000 lbs.
All batteries must have the capability to operate in temperatures up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit due to air condition failure during power outage. All batteries must be equipped with automatic start to ensure no response by personnel is required during power outage. All information contained in this sources sought is subject to change..
