About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to procure 1,905 oxygen masks under NSN 1660-01-695-3827 through solicitation 26R0032. This procurement falls under the category of aircraft air conditioning, heating, and pressurizing equipment and will be conducted as other than full and open competition rather than through standard competitive bidding processes. The required delivery timeline is 298 days after receipt of order, with FOB Origin terms applying to the shipment. The final contract award decision will be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as specified in the forthcoming solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on October 2, 2025, and will be available exclusively through the DIBBS website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ in PDF format, with no paper copies provided to requestors.
This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations, making it available to all eligible contractors who can meet the requirements. The current pre-solicitation notice does not identify any incumbent contractors or provide specific budget ranges or award values for this oxygen mask acquisition. The substantial quantity of 1,905 units indicates a significant procurement volume, likely intended to support military aviation operations across multiple platforms or facilities. The extended delivery timeline of nearly 300 days suggests either complex manufacturing requirements or the need for extensive quality assurance and testing procedures typical of critical aviation safety equipment. Interested vendors have until the solicitation closes to prepare their proposals, though the specific response deadline will be detailed in the formal solicitation document when it becomes available on October 2, 2025.
