NIOSH has a requirement for hardware and software maintenance for its Virtual Immersive Simulation Laboratory (VISLab).

This will be a follow-on contract to provide uninterrupted maintenance and warranties of the hardware and software that was designed, integrated, and installed, and thereafter maintained, modified, and upgraded by Mechdyne. Propriety software was developed by Mechdyne to control various components (some of which are of custom design) of the display and audio systems. The technical specifications for the system were developed by Mechdyne which includes custom designed hardware.
