The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons division, china Lake, CA intends to procure, on a competitive basis, various types of Magnetrons and Engineering, Technical and Repair support services for the Magnetrons in accordance withNAWCWD Statement of Work, NAWCWD Performance Specifications and drawings where UPT is nomenclature for General utility radar transmitting and DPT is nomenclature for pilotless carrier radar transmitting as follows: Performance Spec.13672-EW627B and drawing 1236AS3764 (I Band Magnetron for UPT-2), 13672-ATS703 and 1236AS3240 (Tunable H Band Magnetron for DPT-2), 13672-ATS702 and 1236AS3235 (Tunable J Band Magnetron for DPT-2), 13672-EW628B and 1236AS5126 (Tunable Hi J Band Magnetron for UPT-2), 13672-ATS710 and 1236AS3769 (Tunable J Band Magnetron for DPT-2C), MIL-PRF-1/1754B (H Band Magnetron), 13672-ATS705 and 1236AS3227 (Tunable J Band for DPT-2), 13672-ATS709 and 1236AS3768 (Low J Band Magnetron for UPT-2), 13672-EW626C and 1236AS3763 (H Band Magnetron for UPT-2), 13672-EW629C and 1236AS3771 (Tunable 125 kW Magnetron for UPT-2), 13672-ATS704 and 1236AS3230 (I Band Tunable Magnetron for DPT-2), 13672-ATS708 and 1236AS3766 (Ram Unique I Band Magnetron for DPT-2C), MIL-PRF-1/1755B (I Band magnetron for DPT-1), MIL-PRF-1/1753B (H Band magnetron for DPT-1), 13672-ATS711 and 1236AS3242 (E/F Ground Magnetron), 13672-ATS706 and 1236AS3767 (Hi I Band Magnetron for UPT-2), and lastly 13672-ATS707 and 1236AS3765 (G Band Magnetron for UPT-2). The magnetron units are integrated with transmitter modules and antennas to complete required system configurations. These magnetron based systems are installed in sub-scale aerial targets, airborne pods for use on manned aircraft, and ground based applications. Pricing of the magnetron units shall be on a firm fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) basis and pricing for the Engineering, Technical and Repair support services shall be on a Time and Material (T & M) basis. Contract award may be made on a First Article Required or First Article Waived basis for the magnetrons. The Government reserves the right right to waive First Article for magnetrons that have been previously delivered by an offeror and accepted by the Government within the last two years. A minimum of 1 unit will be ordered at contract award, and a maximum of 680 units total of the various types of magnetrons may be ordered over the Five-year period of performance. Delivery of all units shall be FOB Destination to Naval Air Station, Point Mugu, CA beginning no later than 300 days after the effective date of the delivery order at a rate no less than 4 each per month.
