The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to enter into negotiations on a full and open competition basis, for a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contracts for machining and fabrication of various jobs. The jobs applicable to this procurement as a minimum will include Precision Machining, CNC Machining, Electromechanical Assembly, Heat Treat, Grinding Services, Fabrication and Assembly, Certified Welding Services, Sheet Metal and Fabrication with a minimum quantity of $500.00, and a maximum quantity of $100,000.00 per year for a total of $300,000.00 over the period of performance. The Government anticipates awarding multiple contracts for this requirement, although the Government reserves the right to issue a single contract depending on the solicitation responses and the technical capability of the offerors. Contract awardees will be allowed a fair opportunity to compete for orders valued at greater than $3,000 under this requirement. This contract will be awarded as a 100 percent Small Business Set-aside. The NAWCWD will identify the requirements and any special preparation pertinent to the specific job in each delivery order. Jobs procured as part of this contract will be considered time critical, therefore, special delivery requirements will be implemented. NAWCWD will issue any additional applicable data required by issuing electronic requests for proposals to all contract awardees. Contractors shall respond electronically with price, delivery and any other pertinent information by the time specified in the request. The NAWCWD will issue electronic delivery orders resulting from the proposals.
