This requirement is for the fabrication of two hundred (200) niobium alloy C-103 Mach 14 burst diaphragms. The fabricator shall supply a written material certification for the material used to fabricate the burst diaphragms which shall include chemical composition, yield strength, tensile strength, and modulus of elasticity and percent elongation, the fabricator shall provide the material certification to AEDC to allow AEDC to modify the remainder under the groove dimension to ensure proper diaphragm operation in the AEDC facility. The fabricator shall supply a 100% inspection report for each part. The fabricator shall supply a certificate of compliance. The fabricator shall mark each part with layout dye the part number, thickness, remainder from the corresponding drawing as well as an identification number ranging from 331704001 to 331704200. The performance period is 180 calendar days after receipt of contract award date. Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination, AEDC-White Oak, Silver Spring MD 20903. Proposals are due March 13 2018 Not later than 2:00 p.m. Central Time.

A complete Request for Proposal (RFP) with specifications will be available on or about 15 November 2017. Proposal due date will be on or about 18 December 2017 at 2:00 p.m. central time. The Request for Proposal will only be available electronically at the FBO website. No hard copies, faxes, or e-mails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP Amendments, Clarifications, etc. However, it is the responsibility of contractors (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
