This notice is for the renewal of Lynx Software Support by the Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division in China Lake, CA on a sole source basis with Lynx Software Technologies. Interested parties must be registered in SAM, with new registrations and updates now requiring an original notarized letter before activation, which may take several days to process. Firms must also be certified through DLIS to access controlled unclassified information.

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis for the following items; Lynx Software Support Renewal - 1 Lot. This requirement is sole sourced to Lynx Software Technologies, 855 Embedded Way, San Jose, Ca 95138 as the only vendor that can provide Lynx Software Support to the software currently being used in systems. Any firms believing that they can provide the Lynx Software Support Renewal may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893624Q0057 and clearly show the firm’s ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the materials without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: http://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM.Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Unique Entity ID number before the registration will be activated. It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an 'Active' status as the government cannot award to an entity without an 'Active' SAM registration.
