Notice text
Trac Technologies, LLC was previously awarded the MammoTrac software contract and is the only medical software company that specifically tailored their software for cancer data tracking and analytics to the VA. They have a unique position where they can marry these two software packages together and report from the same database, allowing the Radiology Department at the Detroit VA Medical Center to be more efficient while interfacing the program. For example, if a patient has both lung and breast cancer, the physician can query the system, pull treatment histories and images. This also has 2nd and 3rd order effects like trend tracking, and reduced user training. While other software companies can code an entire new program, it would not be in the best interest of the government to fund the integration and interoperability of these programs when a solution already exists.
Awarded contract 36C25020C0062 to TRAC TECHNOLOGIES, LLC for 246400.00 on 2020-01-30.
