About this opportunity
This notice is seeking a liquid handling robot system to prepare and transfer samples to a mass spectrometer, enabling high-throughput screening capabilities. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Hamilton Technologies on a sole-source basis to meet technical requirements including a Microlab VANTAGE pipetting arm, logistics cabinet, track gripper, and integration of a Waters Xevo-G2-XS and DESI-XS platform into an enclosed robot environment. Interested parties must submit a capability statement by April 22nd referencing solicitation N6893622Q0134 that demonstrates experience, assets, background and ability to perform the work without compromising quality, accuracy, reliability or schedule.
There is no set-aside designated. Interested parties must be registered in SAM and submit responses by April 22nd. The requirement is for delivery, installation, training and a one-year warranty including support, parts and travel from the installation date. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with Hamilton Technologies for a Hamilton Microlab VANTAGE Liquid Handling System in order to prepare samples while simultaneously transferring prepared desorption electrospray ionization (DESI) targets to a mass spectrometer (MS) enables high throughput screening capabilities.
The aforementioned system must meet the following:
Technical Requirements:
- Microlab VANTAGE Pipetting Arm.
- 1.3m VANTAGE Pipettor with Left Side Extension.
- Active Side Waste.
- Quad CO-RE Gripper with Multiflex Module Mount.
- 1.3m Logistics Cabinet.
- Entry/Exit with Barcode Reader
- 1.3m VANTAGE Track Gripper.
- 1.3m VANTAGE Rear Integration Cabinet.
- INT SHELF
- Data System and applications software.
- Integration of Waters Xevo-G2-XS and DESI-XS platform into robot.
- Integration must be in an enclosed environment
And must be able to provide delivery, installation, training, and a one-year vendor warranty, including technical support, parts, labor, and travel/shipping from date of installation.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 14 days after the date of publication of this notice, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893622Q0134 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm’s experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.
Interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://sam.gov/ to start doing business with the federal government.
Written responses to this notice shall be submitted by e-mail to the point(s) of contact listed below no later than 14 days from this notice date.
