THE QUESTION/RESPONSE PERIOD IS NOW CLOSED.
Background: The Office of Facilities and Property Management (OFPM) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires a light vehicle to be utilized by its Grounds Crew personnel to assist in performing maintenance tasks on the NIST Gaithersburg campus. Vehicle will not be used for off-campus transportation. Vehicle shall meet all United States Department of Transportation (DOT), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regulations. They shall also meet Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA) requirements, Section 1910.178 and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) requirements B-26.8.
Objectives: Procure one (1) light utility vehicle for use in daily grounds keeping activities. Used and refurbished vehicles will not be considered.
Please review the attached STANDARD FORM 1449 for complete requirements, and terms and conditions for this solicitation.
Quotes shall include:
1. Specifications for the proposed light utility vehicle.
2. Signed Standard Form 1449.
Quotes that do not provide light utility vehicle specifications shall result in the quote to be determined non-responsive.
All quotations must clearly demonstrate compliance with teh CLIN structure and this solicitation. All quotations must be firm, fixed price for each CLIN.
SHIPPING is FOB Destination in one (1) single delivery during regular NIST buisiness hours, unless otherwise agreed by the Point of Contacts (POCs). FOB Destination means: The Contractor shall pack and mark the shipment in conformance with carrier requirements, deliver the shipment in good order and condition to the point of delivery specified in the purchase order, be responsible for any loss or any damage to the good occurring before receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery point specified in the purchase order, and pay all charges to the specified point of delivery.
